Youtube user Railways Of Doom has documented what is probably the first EDI Comeng to receive the reduced seating layout: 307M-1004T-308M. As you can see in the video the layout does differ from the Alstom Comeng due to the different seating positions with handrails extending outwards towards the middle of the carriage rather than along the wall. The emergency intercoms have been relocated and the set has been retrofitted with the new door handles.

Just wondering, will 541M-1121T-542M get the modifications as well, considering it had already received a reduced seating layout in 2008? Similarly, when the B2 trams got their modified seating layouts in late 2013 - early 2014, B2s 2015, 2018, 2065, 2103, 2105, 2106, 2114, 2116, 2118 and 2130 did not get the modified seating because they had already received another recuced seating layout back in 2003-2004
I am extremely disappointed because I never got the chance to go to Bundoora in an A class

Thebusofdoom: Thanks! I've added these to the list :)

Matty - to answer your question, most likely 541M and co will be modified as more seats have been removed as part of this current modification as well as the different door handles and extra bars and handles around the doorways.
