773M-2537T-774M may also have been done but I didn't get a proper view of it, but I'm pretty sure I saw the new stickers from the outside. Will have to confirm that one again later.

I saw this set at Flinders Street this morning as 718M-2509T-717M-773M-2537T-774M and both sides have had the modifications and deep clean treatment.

New Page:

Alstom Comeng: All in service sets complete, however are currently in the process of receiving the new door handles. This process is occurring quickly so no need to re-state the sets.

EDI Comeng: It appears all original EDI sets have been modified now (post below if there are any that are not) - other sets are in the process of receiving new door handles as some sets did not receive them when they were originally modified.

The only exception to this would be the Connex seating modification set 541M-1121T-542M, which they appear to be undecided on what they'll do to modify it as it is different to the other EDIs in a number of areas. The other exception is 525M-1113T-526M which has received cool white interior lighting, similar to the X'Trapolis fleet. Once more sets are done, we'll start taking note of that.

Added, and also come to the realisation that by now it seems all EDI Comeng sets except for the Connex modified demonstration set have been modified. If any are not, please feel free to note them. Other EDI sets that were modified without the new door handles are receiving them alongside the Alstom Comeng sets.

541M & friends still has its Connex era modified layout. With all the other EDI's being done, I don't think they're going to bother converting this set.

It's looking that way. The set will likely only receive the new door handles. I was onboard this set the other way and it really could use a good clean and paint patch up at the very least.

Noted 791M-2546T-792M now complete yesterday. The project certainly is progressing quite well as there are now far less unbearably gross Siemens running around these days.

The other day channel 9 ran a news story detailing the Siemens fleet refurbishment which can be seen in the link below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_c4BD4MkoQ

It's definitely a thorough process with each set completely stripped of fixtures for repainting. Apparently it takes two weeks to refurbish each set. The set depicted in the video is 837M-2569T-838M.

Over the past several weeks I've noticed that a number of Comeng sets have been cleaned up with no scratched windows or graffiti. It's great to see the fleet as a whole being cleaned up.

Also I've noted that 541M-1121T-542M has received the reduced seating layout.
